Backend development meets hardware: IoT specialist trescore GmbH wants to develop sensor electronics based on UWB that can be used simultaneously in real time to determine the position of hundreds of thousands of devices. The role of SSI
For the IoT backend development SSI first analyzed the business case and created a cost model for the infrastructure. Together with the customer, the USP was sharpened and the basic technologies for Software architecture and development selected. The agile development processes and QA processes were defined rudimentarily. Based on these requirements, a “skill set” for personnel was created. It identified which architects, developers and testers would be needed in the team. Even the The teams were put together in close cooperation with the customer. This was followed by the installation of development and QA processes and finally development in sprints using SCRUM methods and “Test Driven” (TDD).
