‍Challenge‍

With the aim of positioning itself as a holistic digital player, ETO wants to penetrate all digital content in the future via social media (Cawaena, City Guide) to care (Hannah) and industrial applications (Caritag, Alfried, FarmUnited, etc.) and also manage it as a content provider. This complete orientation runs under the umbrella term ETOSPHERES.

Secure, orchestrated Software lifecycle management under one roof: In order to penetrate the entire data flow into social media, care or digital industrial applications, ETO relies on Full service expertise from SSI. In close cooperation, jointly developed solutions are expanded to include additional apps, tools and interfaces and integrated into the existing digital ETOSPHERES platform.

The role of SSI

As a technical enabler and empathetic partner, SSI supports customer ETO holistically, from planning, implementation to operational support. Software lifecycle management from a single source. All five sub-projects are designed and implemented in such a way that they function and complement each other without limits under the ETOSPHERES umbrella.

‍Cawaena mobile app

A marketplace for high-quality content based on user-generated content. Each “like” is linked to a micropayment. All payment transactions are processed via cryptocurrency.

‍Carifamily application

An application for locating and tracking family members. These carry a special “charity day” (hardware), which can be located and tracked via the associated mobile app and the wearer can therefore be found again.

‍Decentralized storage management DSMS

DSMS is the abbreviation for Decentralized Storage Management System. It provides the required infrastructure without central responsibility for operating the network. Only rights holders can connect new nodes to the DSMS network.

‍Home care with Hannah Care

Hannah Care enables real-time analysis of electricity and water consumption data and the identification of atypical consumer behavior, particularly of older people or people in need of care. This can identify potential emergencies and initiate rapid assistance through a 24-hour emergency service.

Hannah platform 

The Hannah platform is ETO's central management infrastructure for running its own or third-party applications. It offers native cloud services and ensures that data is hosted exclusively in the EU.

The result

Software lifecycle management by SSI has raised the areas under the ETOSPHERES umbrella to a new level in all areas. There is already a first productive version of Cawaena for Android. Carifamily is due for field tests until it goes live at the end of July 2024. The Hannah platform is constantly being expanded with the support of SSI. Hannah Care is migrating from AWS to the Hannah platform. DSMS is going through the design phase. SSI is currently preparing a proposal for a first commercial version, on which business cases such as City Guide or Lora Gateway can then be run. (as of 08-2024)
